Cookery Course inside the old trullo.
Corte Altavilla arranges Apulian Cookery Course made by an old-fashioned lady.
During the lesson, the participants can prepare the menù composed of starters, main course, second course and dessert.
The tools, the tecniques and the ingredients are more important than recipes. Before starting the lesson, you need to go to the local market to buy the ingredients . The recipes draw inspiration from local seasonal products. Old dishes are revised according to the healthy tecniques in order to appreciate the scent, taste and lightness of the traditional recipe.
Learning how to make handmade pasta, bread with walnuts, almonds or olives, pizza and focaccia, is the starting point of every lesson. Learning to knead in order to make bread in every moment : for breakfast, for a snack or for dinner, serving it just baked together with the appropriate match.
A different dough for the tart is the final touch of the lesson
The Apulian cookery course is arranged inside the old trullo of Corte Altavilla in Conversano.
